1. Drink Plenty of Water

Water is the most abundant molecule in the human body and the more you have flowing through your system, the better you feel and ultimately look. Try to drink at least 10 – 12 cups of water each and every day. This will help you get rid of gas and stop bloating. Trust me, your belly will thank you for it!

2. Increase Your Protein Intake

Eat lean meats, beans and even try protein shakes to help you increase your protein intake. Aim for 1 gram of protein for each pound of weight you have in your body (ex. 160 grams of protein a day for a 160lbs gentleman).

3. Sleeping on Time

Sleeping on time is one of those things we know we have to do but never really seem to get the hang of. How many times have you tried to get to bed on time only to find yourself up at midnight looking at Facebook profiles? It happens to us all but sleeping on time is key to maintaining a healthy metabolism which will help you increase muscle mass and decrease stomach fat.

4. Cut Down on Sugars

Sugars are probably your worst enemy when it comes to losing weight and maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Those little suckers are everywhere! Sugars have no direct health benefits and serve a s a major detriment to losing fat. If you consume sugar, you have to burn it off, otherwise it stores itself as fat, more specifically, belly fat. There is no reason to have a large amount of sugar in your daily diet and if you find yourself craving sweets, you should find healthier, natural alternatives such as Stevia.

5. Eat More in the Morning / Less in the Evening

One of the best tips to losing belly fat is focusing most of your caloric intake in the morning hours and eating less as the day goes on. By eating this way, you give yourself time to burn off excess calories while you move and walk around throughout the day.
Keeping a flat belly and losing stomach fat is no easy feat but if you dedicate yourself to a consistent workout schedule and keep your appetite in check with these solid tips, you will find yourself with the figure you always wished you had.
